It’s a choice. Master your ability to: 1) Direct your attention to the heart, 2) Pause and 3) Choose your words and actions in alignment with what you value most. A heart-aligned response comes naturally when you engage the heart (see the Heart-Lock In technique below).

As the heart sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart, send the brain a coherent heart signal and voila!

That’s peace. That’s balance. That’s emotional intelligence. That’s less wear and tear on you and those you love. That’s a life well-lived. That’s a world in harmony because you are.

The Heart Lock-In® Technique (HeartMath®)—Awakening the Power of the Heart to Elevate Consciousness with a Coherent Heart

1. Focus your attention on the heart or chest area. Now, take a few breaths as if the air is coming in and out of your heart or chest area, breathing a little slower and deeper than usual. Find a rhythm that is even and comfortable. Do this for a minute.

2. Now feel a renewing feeling such as care or appreciation for someone, 
 something, or a special place in your life as you continue to breathe in and 
out of your heart.

3. As you continue to radiate feelings of care and appreciation inward, radiate them out to the world. Do this for a couple of minutes.

A change of heart truly changes everything.
